Hicks Yew Bonsai

Now that my golden gate ficus got to the point that I'm trimming and shaping it at a bonsai club, I've got a couple other trees to work on.

Got an AWESOME looking Hick's Yew tree today. It must have been planted in the ground for a few years before the nursery (a 500 acre giant of a place) put it in a 5 gal bucket to sell. The trunk is HUGE, havn't measured, but I'd guess it to be 3 inches in diameter, with some thick funky lookin' nebari. Although I think these guys usually are either male or female, mine seems to have both the red berries and the small cones.

It has a lot of nice branching, and seems suited to an informal upright style... it could almost be a formal upright, even, its trunk is just slightly askew from ramrod straight. The branches sweep upwards.

Now I need to figure out what I want to do with it. Has anybody else here ever messed with a yew before, or knows some good places online I could check out for some info? I'm just getting into the research now.
