what to do with my bonsai now?

Ive recived a bonsai fiucs plant (i guess) 5 days ago .. its 4 years old , i watered it 2 times and never let the soil too dry , however the leafs now are chrunchy and very dry ! once i touch them , they fall .. what shall i do ? shall i cut all the leafs or make them fall ? please help me

Where is the tree? Outside in full sun? Inside? If you can provide a little more infor and maybe post a pic we can help out a bit more.
