| Anyone ever use a cedar tree (misnomer I know, really like an arbor vitae, but everyone up here calls them eastern white cedars) as bonsai material? I have located a nice one on our property up north and was thinking of potting it up next spring. |

| Yes, outdoors indeed! Some protection for the root-zone might be advised. I love conifer bonsai covered in a light frock of snow. Josh |
