Bonsai bougainvillea

Back in 2010 I bought this in a 1 gallon pot from a nursery in Half Moon Bay California while on vacation. It was about 2' tall and in full bloom, and survived about 4 days in the car as we continued our vacation and drove back here to the Seattle area where it would become a bonsai. In our climate it can only be outdoors from about mid-June (after hardening off) until mid October, the rest of the year it stays indoors. As a vine with long, straight shoots I often have to prune off branches that would normally get blooms so it's nice when I get a colorful display.
