| It is certainly a Ficus, probably microcarpa or possibly retusa. It needs to have the lower branches brought down with wires or weights so they spread out more horizontally. Also that stump behind to new sprout needs to be trimmed to make it taper into the new top. |

| Actually ficus microcarpa, they look best as a companion plant or house plant. Never really have seen one grown as a decent Bonsai. However, in many Asian countries they grow desert rose as Bonsai. Bob |
