matsumurae maple seeds

I recentely planted 250 japanese maple seeds in ten diff. varieties and while germinating these seeds i accidentaly put some of my matsumurae maple seeds in the fridge along with the other seeds. The seeds have been in there for a week. I am now wondering if i should keep the seeds in the fridge for the three month period, or if i should take them out and plant them how the directions say, wich is to sow them in high quality seed mixture and keep them at high humidity and at 65 degrees. i heard that matsumurae maple seeds are fragile species in general so i just dont want to kill them before they get a chance to germinate. any advice will help thanks.

RE: matsumurae maple seeds

When you say you put them in the refrigerator did you mean that you just put them in there in a container or were you stratifying them in a damp medium? If you just put them in and they are in a paper sac or something I think they will be ok until you want to plant them. If they are being stratified then I would keep an eye on them and plant them at the first sighn of sprouting.
