what does the part where it branches from the main trunk look like? i love the trunk but would like to see a full view of the whole tree. beautiful trunk tho

Betula, the photos were taken at a local xeric nursery. So,it really wasn't trained like a true Bonsai..that right growing trunk turns upwards about 2' before branching out. But,I have seen many of these potted in small Bonsai pots(6x9) at Home Depot locally and figured seeing one older and larger, dwarfed(mostly) might be of interest.

While I dont like to put myself forward much, I think that the tree is a "Brachychiton Rupestris". They are native to my area and the leaves are the same. Brachychiton acerfolius leaves are Large 5 lobed and look like a strange maple leaf. Ron
