bonsai pruning

My apologizes if I screw this up as it is my first posting. I have a bonsai my daughter bought me probably about 5 years ago. I believe it is a black pine. It hase never been purned or anything else for that matter. I am wondering if I can pay someone to look at this and prune it or shape it and give it what care it needs. Mabey a student that needs some practice. I have started to do it myself a few times but do not have the courage. Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated. I am also willing to join the club and pay the dues.

Thanks, Melvin Helm

Where do you live Melvin? There are hundreds of bonsai clubs all over the US. Find one and join it. Then you will have the fun of pruning your own tree and enjoying the peace and tranquility that bonsai brings to ones life. As a start just Google "bonsai societies" and you will find many. Most clubs have a web site if they have been around for a while.

Thanks, I told you I didn't know what I was doing. I thought this was the forum for the Fresno Bonsai club. I really should try to make time for this hobby as I would probably enjoy it, but time is in short supply. Thanks for your reply, Melvin
