Podocarpus lawrencii in the heat?

Does anyone know the growing specs on Podocarpus lawrencii? Especially, can it survive our 110+ summers here outdoors? If I bring it indoors, can it survive with good light--I know that most conifers struggle in indoor environments. I have already tried two of them, and both conked out during our monsoon season--not the time of our highest highs, but the nights stay over 90 degrees. They never even got out of the training pot!
Any experience in hot climates is welcome. :-0

They are a tropical so heat and humidity aren't a problem. Or...shouldn't be. What they should have is ample water in a well drained pot and soil. It would also help to wet down the area around the plants a few times a day. We have 8 to 10 months of 100+ degree heat here then a true monsoon season. During the hot months all of my trees get watered hard a few times a day and I also wet down the patio (like they need more humidity).

The rest of the day they are in at least 80% full sun.

I was worried that even though it's a tropical, it's an alpine tropical from New Zealand. Since you're growing it in Vietnam, I guess I shouldn't worry!
I was doing mostly what you said, but I think that my soil was fairly fine and peaty. I'll try again with a coarser, more mineral-based mix--root rot was one suspect in their demise.
Thank you, head cutter! : ])
