You can probably get tons of them (look at local bonsai nurseries), but are you sure the trees are ready for them? In other words have they grown out to the point where they're 'finished' style-wise and now will only grow very slowly in bonsai pots (vs a larger training pot or box or in-ground)? The best time is when they're dormant, so where you are would likely be December, or else the spring (April).

they're in a one gallon and I'm not sure how long I would wait until they are "trained".?
