| about a mounth ago i went to a bonsai show and there was a demmo were the guy made the five or six basic forms of bonsai and at the end he gave me two so no i have an informal upright and a cascade. My question is were can i get bonsai pots arround souther california? and when is the best time to do it |

| You can probably get tons of them (look at local bonsai nurseries), but are you sure the trees are ready for them? In other words have they grown out to the point where they're 'finished' style-wise and now will only grow very slowly in bonsai pots (vs a larger training pot or box or in-ground)? The best time is when they're dormant, so where you are would likely be December, or else the spring (April). |
