| I have one which Ihave cut back several times just to keep it under control. The leaves have never reduced as far as I can tell. I have not tried repeated defoliations however which might work. I don't consider them to be good candidates for bonsai training. I would rather spend my time on something that will respond better. Get a nice juniper of elm. If you want an indoor bonsai try a Ficus or Schefflera. |

| I don't think the leaves will reduce, either. About the only thing you can do is keep it trimmed, as Jack says. The smaller, juvenile growth will give the impression of small leaves, but it won't last long. Josh |
