| Quick question, are the berries edible on a fukien tea? Ive planted some around the tree and some in separate pots, now with more growing thought it would be cool to eat something ive helped grow.

| Hi, you could steep them and make tea, which I have no idea about in terms of taste, so you won't poison yourself or anything, but I don't think you otherwise want to eat them... tastewise anyhow. |

| Guess I`ll pass on the berries then! I posted a while back about planting the seeds. Lucy, you said I did not have to place the seeds in a cold place as the tree is a tropical kind. I have tried to find more information about this but many sources on the net and in books do not seem to mention tropical bonsai seed differences in growing! I have just planted some in a pot and kept inside in conditions like that of my bonsai, would you recommend any other action, like bottom heat for example? |
