Fukien Tea...can you eat the berries?

Quick question, are the berries edible on a fukien tea? Ive planted some around the tree and some in separate pots, now with more growing thought it would be cool to eat something ive helped grow.

Hi, you could steep them and make tea, which I have no idea about in terms of taste, so you won't poison yourself or anything, but I don't think you otherwise want to eat them... tastewise anyhow.

Guess I`ll pass on the berries then!

I posted a while back about planting the seeds. Lucy, you said I did not have to place the seeds in a cold place as the tree is a tropical kind. I have tried to find more information about this but many sources on the net and in books do not seem to mention tropical bonsai seed differences in growing!

I have just planted some in a pot and kept inside in conditions like that of my bonsai, would you recommend any other action, like bottom heat for example?
