Hi, to be honest, i've never done a bonsai before. I got some delonix regia seeds because I absolutely love them. I've heard that you can bonsai but it is difficult. I may be a newbie but I got 31 seeds and there is a 90% germination rate so there is some room to experiment with. I've heard you should cut the tap root and keep cutting back the header until you get branching. I would love to grow this outside but I know it's not possible. I don't care if it is in "traditional bonsai form" it could be 4-5 feet for all I care. I just can't let it grow to and through the ceiling. I should get 25+ seedlings and I only need one. so if you reccomend scarring the trunk to make it shorter I would try it. I also heard I should keep defoliating to try to reduce leaf size? Any help would be appreciated,
