| without a picture of the tree (bonsAi) it's impossible to even guess. See if you can post a picture here (on the gallery... see pg top) with a note here for us so we can look at it. |

How to price a tree
| | |
| OK, I found it. Unfortunately, even though it's large(!), and 'styled', and looks healthy at the moment, it is not really a very good bonsai, and therefore I wouldn't think you could get too much for it relative to others of a similar size, but where are you planning on trying to sell it? That matters too (how knowledgable the customers are, etc.). |

Thanks, i had not planned any paticular place to sell it, not knowing a lot about bonsai, i thought if i could get a rough idea of a price, i may give me some idea where to sell, Thanks |

| If you can find a local bonsai club, they could probably advise you best about where to sell it locally. OR, you could try e-bay (do you have e-bay there?). It's not a 'bad' tree, but the trunk development isn't good - it should taper, but instead it seems to have gotten lumpy in places higher up - in other words whoever grew it didn't do a very good job - but someone should still be happy to have it for a reasonable amount (100 quid?) or more. Why not find a place that sells bonsai where you live (I don't mean some old guy selling little junipers from the back of his truck, but a dedicated store) and see what others go for? |

My advice mirrors Lucy's: 1) compare prices for "similar" trees on e-bay (or other online sources); 2) compare prices locally if at all possible (who knows, you might find a willing buyer right off the bat!). Good luck! |
