| Ive given it alot of thought. I have a ginseng ficus that has been lopped off at the top while very short. This has caused several branches to grow out of the sides of the stump. I've recently repotted it so ive got some time to decide before i can shock it again. if i were to hack off all of the side shoot branches vice the one closest to the top and smooth off the stump top into a more streamlined figure would the one remaining branch fatten up and fork off creating a more treelike plant and less of a shrub? Or would i just over stress it and kill it. Were talking a messy latex nightmare to hack all other branches off. |
