| I just acquired some firethorn seeds for a bonsai merchant at the local mall. She had a wide variety of bonsai trees for sale and had several firethorn with berries. I obtained some berries and have removed the seeds from the fruit. what is the best way to get these seeds to sprout? also is it possible to take root cutting from firethorns? my parents have a huge bush in their yard and was curious if i would be able to grow new plants from root cuttings. thanks for any info..... |

| I had quite a good germination rate after sowing the seeds in the fridge for 3 months, then at room temperature. I've never tried taking cuttings, so I can't help you there. I hope that's helpful! |
