Flower Planters as Grow Boxes?

Hey all. Quick question. I've got some flower pots that go along rails sitting aorund my shed. Since they don't necessarily go downwards and go more horizontal, could they be used as grow boxes? I would love to try this, anyone think t would work? Thanks!

Yes, but make sure they have good drainage holes. Jack

Thanks Jack! Do you think I could stick 2 Japanese Red Maples into one pot, then seperate them once they are bonsai size? Thanks anyone else as well!

Ryan, I have been using flower pots for many years. They are great for growing containers.
