| Hey, Ryan, that was a mess of roots to prune! Do you have an update of this tree now? I'd love to see it's progress.

| Hi Laura, Thanks for the compliments. In all honesty I don't use cut paste. I think of the way a tree would grow in nature, and how if a limb were to break off what would happen to the tree? Is there someone there to apply cut paste? Nope. I just let the tree do its own thing and I leave it alone. Seems to not cause any problems. However, if you really want to apply cut paste, the stuff in the link is what I have used before. You can buy it anywhere online. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Japanese Cut Paste

| Hey Ryan, Thanks for the information on the cut paste. I think i will order some just to have it on hand and then use the other methods that some suggest. I like your idea about leaving them as is, especially if it is a small cut or prune. Thank again. I will try and make it up to the Mee...Garden Center soon. I will let you know what i find. Probably a road trip up north!!! I worry what will be in the car on the way home though!! : ) Take care, Keep up the great work!!! Laura |

| Not a problem, good luck up there. It is well worth the drive and you can easily fill up your car in just one trip. |
