I havnt been home recently for a week and a half during a couple days heat wave with a few rainy showers in Australia. I was unable to attend to my bonsai and when I got back, the tree has dried up. I have searched for solutions which informed that the if the tree was scorched, deep watering may be needed. They also informed me to check if it completely died by scratching a tiny bit of the bark off the trunk to check if it was green, but mine was orange. The leaves are firmly attached and do not fall off upon contact, Is there anyway to help recover my maple bonsai tree? or has it died completely?
