Yep, Try any pet shop where they sell equipment for Aquariums or reptile en-closers, also some nurseries might carry them.

I've tried looking in my area for a good rock for root over rock, since I don't really like the aesthetic appeal of the porous lava rocks at the pet stores, but its near impossible in the Chicago land area. Looks like the only way to to find a good one is by going hiking in a mountainous area.

What a great idea, Gessiegirl...I'd never considered aquarium shops (or pet stores).

Of course, I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, and we've got rock everywhere....
