Photo tips?

I am still having problems getting clear, sharp photos of yellow and white flowers. When I try to shoot the bronze crocus, I get a bright yellow blur, even when it is sharper the bronze streaks don't come through enough, the brightness of the yellow still reflects too much.

Macro mode doesn't seem to help, they aren't open yet in early morning (western exposure). With later flowers I can get good results by standing back and zooming in, but not with the crocus. Best results I've gotten so far are with a UV filter and trying to "shade" them with my shadow.

I mostly use auto and portrait for flowers, what else can I try?

RE: Photo tips?

Hi Jrstark,

I too am having problems getting clear pics. I have a new Kodak Easy Share, which I have not found to be so easy...and must go to their on line site for more info than the little bit they provided in the booklet. (next to none you might say).

You might try doing a search and/or asking at The Photography Forum, at the link below.

Good luck!

Sue
