I personally think that anyone with a very shady spot with perfect drainage should grow this spectacular plant. It isn't the easiest bulb in the world to grow to flowering, but nothing as spectacular as this ever is :o) Dan

That's nice and all. But where can you buy Cardiocrinum giganteum? Where did you get it at least?

RE: Cardiocrinum giganteum

I imported it for myself from the Himalayas. I do this to get nice nearly mature bulbs rather than buying the little wankers you can get here in the U.S. :o) Dan

Is it possible to get some of its seeds from you? I don't have anything to trade but I will buy from you. Thanks.

RE: Cardiocrinum giganteum

Hi, I plan to purchase a Cardiocrinum giganteum bulb from Asiatica Nursery, I live in central Connecticut and I am in Zone 6 and was wondering if I should plant my Cardiocrinum giganteum on the ground or if it's best to plant it in a pot.
Thanks
