No, this is not an amaryllis. I think the common name is Peruvian Daylily or also known as Spider Lily by some. Sorry, I can't for the life of myself remember the botanical name.

Spider lily is correct;
this is a more tropical kind of hymenocallis I would not say peruvian daffodil in this case (the blooms of this group of hymenocallis from cooler climates are far more compact) examples: H.amancaes, H.calathina and the well kown sterile garden hybrid H. x festalis

Choose your personal spider lily favorite which ressembles your's the most. It might be H.caribaea or H.occidentalis

Thank you very much for the information. I had a feeling that guy was wrong when he said amaryllis. Spider lily makes sense when u look at the flower...again...thank you for the information.
