Need way to finally get rid of Calla Lilies

Not sure if this is right place to ask this question or not. We bought this house a yr ago and in a part of the yard were Calla Lilies right next to an old rose garden. Well the things are so invasive that I just want to be rid of them. So I dug up all the ones that were next to my rose bushes and have since them cleared out the main patch. I dug up all the tuber/bulb type things as well. The darn things just keep coming up and I don't know how to get rid of them.

Any advice would be helpful so that I don't kill my roses and anything else. Would round up on the new growth kill the plants down to the bulb like things, but leave the rest alone? What would you do??? Tx, Nicole

This is the image gallery area, but I was in your situation. I let the calla and rose coexist for a few years. The rose did fine and I thought they were good companion plants until we had some hard winds and the rose thorns shred the calla. Anyway, I dug up the rose and calla, a 4 ft diameter circle about 2 feet deep, sifted all the soil through a screen, then replanted the rose. No sign of calla after 4 years, and the rose didn't seem to mind the harsh treatment.
