| Hi keithf25, Welcome to Garden Web and The Bulb Forum. It could be anyone's guess. There is really no way of even guessing since we don't know how many bulbs were originally planted in the clump. I would estimate that 3 Ice Follies bulbs could turn into 20 bulbs in 5 years. Some bulbs are a lot more prolific and grow and produce offsets at a lot faster rate then others. Other less prolific (than Ice Follies) would take several years longer for 3 bulbs to turn into a clump of 20 bulbs. I look forward to seeing your blooms. Sue...a daff addict |
