Glads growing in garage

So I have a dozen or so Gladiolus that I dug up last fall because we were having that part of our yard re-graded. We're in Zone 7 (NE TN) and I usually leave them in the ground and havent lost any yet. So anyway, instead of replanting them, I am storing them in a semi-heated garage in containers with garden soil. Garage probably stays 40 deg - 65 (its lower level of house). Well, it's the 2nd week of Feb., still very much in the winter, and I noticed a couple of them are already sprouting. one is already 2 ft tall, others have 6-8" out of the dirt. Think I'll be good waiting another 4-6 weeks to plant or maybe I'm just going to have to leave them in containers this year? I'll have to split them up because they're bunched up in the containers.
