I'm pulling my hair out trying to find a States, for unusual gladiolus such as g.altata,g.orchidflous,g.papilio and etc. Annie's Annuals shows them on their website but they never seem to be"in production"....and I'm not interested in bidding on ebay auctions

RE: Vendors for unusual glads

I bought my G. papilio at a local plant sale. HUGE mistake!! The buggars spread like greased lightning and I was pulling them out constantly. Just a note of warning on this one:-)

I did find one source for you:

I have no idea of the quality of this vendor (seems expensive) so you might want to check them out on one of the online/mail order rating sites.

RE: Vendors for unusual glads

Thanks very much for that link gardengal. They do have some nice bulbs. I ocassionaly splurge on plants I can't find seed for or can't be grown from seed. One of my guilty pleasures.
