bulbs poking up through leaves...

So most of my tulips, daffs, and hyacinths are starting to poke up through the leaves in my yard. I know I am being impatient, but is it alright if I remove the leaves to expose the sprouts? I don't know if this would help them along with a little more sun, or expose them to possible cold. It's been a wild winter in NC this year, but I think the worst is over. Any opinions or advice?

You can go ahead and remove the leaves just be careful not to disturb the bulbs. Enjoy!
