Arum Italicum worries

I have three clumps of arum italicum that are about 15 years old.

The leaves have gotten smaller and smaller and I can't remember the last time they sent up that spathe thingie or whatever it's called.

They are all in dappled shade.

Have they just gotten too old?

Sounds like its time to dig them up, divide them/thin them out, amend the soil or find a new site for them. That should restore vigor.
