I have mine planted among dwarf nandinas in the ground. When the lyrcoris bloom in the fall it looks as if the Nandinas are blooming. Then the lycoris foliage blends in with the nandinas during the winter. It's a nice combo. You could do the same thing with hellebores or any other evergreen low shrub or perennial.
