Hi, I planted many crocus bulbs last fall and I am seeing no sign of them yet here in Columbus, Ohio..my dafs are coming up. But I am not sure I have seen other crocus in bloom yet? Help, should they be up yet?

What zone are you?

First-year crocus blooms later than established crocus. Unless something ate them, they'll be fine. Are you in zone 5?

I have plenty of crocus that I planted last fall and just the tiniest little tips are showing, if anything. I am in Zone 6.

I can also see only the green foliage of what I think are my crocuses planted in the fall - no sign of the flower yet.

Thanks for posting on this. I was wondering too. Ive been out checking everyday. Last fall was my first attempt at crocus in a long time. No foliage yet in Zone 5.

Is this true for other minor bulbs as well? I see the new daffodils coming up but not the other new ones like chionodoxa.

Today I saw a bunch of crocuses blooming from bulbs I had planted Fall 2007. Fall2008 planted crocuses are still at the green foliage stage though I did see one with a bud.

Oh, how pretty! Amazing how such a small flower can bring so much joy.

My fall 08 planted ones are now showing an inch of green. Happy!
