Mixing Bulbs

I have a border of irises and tulips along a stepping stone path to my patio, and I wanted to know of any suggestions for some summer-blooming bulbs to interplant in the next month or so, to help hide the foliage of these other varieties as they die off. Any suggestions? Thank you.

For a summer bulb, I like Acidanthera bicolor (Gladiolus callianthus). They bloom later in the year, but have foliage all summer. They are fragrant and not so top heavy as Gladiolus and do not usually require flower stem support. Al

How about daylilies? There are many sizes & colors available & they are pest free.

Glads are easy and cheap. You can plant them every other week and have them bloom in stages.

How about dahlias? They're not bulbs (I think), but act like them, come in about a million varieties and colors and are easy like bulbs.
