Planting Gladiolus

I just planted an orange hybrid variety of Gladiolus into 6 inch plastic containers. Im sure this will not be a large enough pot but im starting them here. What size pot will I actually need for a happy flower display? Any tricks to sucessful growing for these beautiful plants? Any help would be great! thanks:)

6" pots will topple for sure once the glads. grow to its full height. A 12" pot will work better. Place some rock in the bottom of the pot before filling it with soil. That should help. Full sun is best.
If you have a lot of corms and would like to prolong blooming, plant the corms 2 weeks a part.

Although they won't tip over a larger pot, they will still fall over if not supported. Think about how you will stake them. Al
