Tulips from seed?

Had anyone successfully germinated tulip seeds? My first successful crossbreed of two types of tulip is making a nice big seed pod, so now I'm wondering if I can germinate them as soon as they are ripe or if I need to refrigerate them first, if they need an anti-fungus treatment of some kind, and what mix to germinate them in, how moist, with or without light, what temp, etc.

Ummmm......if you click on the highlighted/underlined word "source", that connects you with the link. Just the same as clicking on the highlighted/underlined "FAQ" or "instructions" at the beginning of this forum will link you to those pages. Or the advertisement for Jennie Garth and Hidden Valley Ranch. Or any of a zillion other imbedded links all over GardenWeb.

But the word source isn't highlighted or underlined or clickable for me. I guess it was blocked by NoScript, which also blocks all the ads. Got it now though. :)

It wasn't highlighted or clickable for me either using Firefox. I just went and checked and saw it on IE. hmmm...wonder what else FF is blocking. It sure does a good job of blocking all the annoyances anyway.

That's very interesting to know.......I wonder how many other imbedded links I've included in posts have not been clickable. Since it appears readily for me when I preview the post (and I always verify), I just assumed it would do so for anyone else.
