Hmm, I planted muscari and tulips in fall. My muscari came up in fall, and kept their leaves underneath the snow all winter. They aren't showing any signs of making flowers yet though. My tulips have been coming up all this week, the tallest are almost 5" and one odd type is making flower buds just above ground level; a few have just barely peeked above ground.
