HI all
I was givien some big beautiful crinum bulbs. I need to get them in the ground. But the question: how much sun is enough for them to bloom nicely? Can they be happy in 4 hours of Tx sun or do they require 6 like many roses...or, do they really want more.

any experience or guidance? I do know that I have some that don't get enough...
sigh gotta move those too!

I can tell you that my Milk and Wine lilies in full sun had five or six bloom cycles last summer. I have read that they will tolerate "some" shade, but do best in full sun. I am in east central Mississippi, so our climate ought to be somewhat similar. Don't know if this is much help...
