Yep, I have moved them before at this stage. Just make sure you plant them at teh same depth and they should do great next year.

Oh, and don't feel the need to water them if they look limp. Just leave them be if the soil is not 'dust' dry.

Some vigorous cultivars may not resent this treatment.

I would only do it if I could dig a large root mass.

You can move daffodils at any time. They may not bloom next year if you don't let them die back on their own, but they will recover over time.

I move mine around while they are blooming so I know which are which.
