hello,

so there's are three pink and six blue hyacinth bulbs I bought them as prepotted and ready to bloom, so I put them out till leaves went yellow(half was yellow other half was eaten by pests) the bulbs have regained their firm feel.

on the precautionary side I cut the foliage off at about an inch to two inches above the bulb top as was unsure what to do (I used secateurs) they have been sat in the sun for half a day; what to do now?

(I have gotten the paper bags abd sawdust(shavings small mammal bedding substrate) when shall I put them back into the ground?

(I dug them up as I have put dahlias in its place)

any help or useful sites on bulb care and storage would be appreciated.
