 o
inexpensive bulb source?

Hi,
I am looking for an inexpensive source for perennial bulbs and am having trouble finding one so thought I would ask everyone where they get theirs. I have a pretty large space to fill so would like to buy in larger quantities, 25-100, and was looking for something in the 15-30 cent a bulb range in maybe a lily mix or something similar. Any ideas would be great. Thanks very much.

Hollandbulbfarms.com is having a sale right now, and I found their lily prices very reasonable. I ordered some bulbs for my mom for Mother's Day, but that was my first order. You could also try TouchofNature.com, although their lily selection was not that great. They have other things, though.

Also, if you're patient, BrentandBeckysBulbs.com usually has a sale later on in May, if I remember correctly. If anyone knows when this is, exactly, please post?

Be sure to check with GardenWatchdog.com before ordering online from anybody.

Scheepers as a wholesale/large quantity business in addition to the regular web site. It is called Van Englen.

You can try bulbsdirect.com as well. I ordered from them. And though it took so long to arrive that I had almost given up (15 days) the bulbs themselves were very cheap but clean and healthy. I planted some right away and they are growing fine.

I hope your bulbsdirect bulbs work out ok for you. Mine were a big disappointment. Mislabeled and not robust.
