I've been gardening for only a few years and last year was my first with glads. I planted jumbo glads. The bulbs were huge. They were round and flat and a good two inches in diameter. They grew to between five and six feet tall. I dug them up last fall and separated the new corm from the old one. The old corm didn't appear dried up as i had been told it would be. i put them in paper bags and they are sprouting . I would honestly have a hard time telling them apart from the new corm. I guess my question is, do any of you think the old corms still have enough energy left to bother with planting. I was told to always throw the older one away. Thanks for your input.
