I just dug up 3 wayward tulip bulbs without checking to see if this is the right time of year to do this. I could still see some of their green leaves after the lawn was mowed and knowing that in a few weeks they will be gone and I won't be able to locate them, I just went ahead and dug them. Please advise what I should do with them. Transplant them now? I live in Maryland. Thank you.

put them where you want them to come up next year and hope they servive. or you can store them untill next spring and plant them then.

If you have a cold winter climate they need to be planted either now or in the autumn. They need the winter cold temps. If you don't have a cold winter they will need chilling before they are planted in the spring. Just keeping them and planting in spring won't work in either climate type.
