help please - planted freesia bulbs moldy

Hello everyone,

I planted freesia bulbs for the first time about a week ago. I noticed my gladiolus bulbs were sprouting, but not my freesia, so I dug them up to have a look. To my demise, my freesia bulbs have not sprouted at all, and they have this bluish-green mold on them. There isn't a lot of mold, but they are spotted with it.

What can I do? Will they still sprout? Is the soil still safe to use?

For reference, I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and I used "miracle soil" from Loblaws.

Any tips are appreciated! Thanks in advance!
