Hello,

I planted some bulbs last fall and put mesh down to prevent digging from squirrels and other pests. This worked wonderfully and now my bulbs are blooming spectacularly!

I was planning on leaving the bulbs in the ground (the ones that don't need to be overwintered) and am wondering if I need to put mesh/chicken wire/something down again this fall once all the foliage dies back to keep them safe from pests or will they be okay without a barrier since they aren't new plantings.
