I think that if you have the soil all prepared for them, that it would be fine to dig them and immediately replant them.

All bulbs can be dug when the foliage has yellowed. Yellow/brown foliage no longer produces food for the bulb to store for next year's leaves/bloom.

So if your ranunculus have green leaves don't dig. Roots will be broken and hasten the demise of the foliage which still is doing its job.

If you must dig a green-leaved bulb, get as big a soil mass as possible for less root removal and less transplant shock.

I think I'd wait few more weeks & let the foliage get brown/yellow before digging them out.
