Don't feel too bad, most of the daff foliage here is still nice and green. I think the cool temperatures and plentiful rainfall (a little too plentiful!) are keeping them growing.

I broke down and dug some of the earliest ones yesterday even though the leaves are still hanging on. Now I just have to make sure I don't fill the daff bed with too much other stuff before the fall!

Yes, you have a good point: when there is still foliage it is easier to keep track of where the bulbs are. Thanks for putting a positive spin on it. It will be interesting to see if the bulbs are stronger next year, with the extra time to get fed.
