I have created a garden blog. There are lots of bulbs pictured including Ornithogalum, Hippeastrum spring ephemerals and the like. There are also many other unusual and exotic plants and vines for your enjoyment.

Here is a link that might be useful: flower farm and gardens

Which are the better months to look at for bulb pictures?

April/May would be best there are a few unusual bulbous plants most people are not familiar with.

Here I go, picky picky! Hercules is a Him, though with that glorious pink 'her' sounds much better!

I agree on those you term 'ephemerals', though Chionodoxa lasts ages for me.

Having just discovered that some Hippeastrums are epiphytes I'm thinking sort of orchid baskets or chunks of tree fern (plenty down on the river bank after the floods). I did notice one teeny one of mine with brave little roots sneaking across the top of the mix so, perhaps some sort of vireya rhododendron-like habitat.

And I've seen H cybister.... That was folly, indeed.

    Enough!!!

Thank you very much for sharing your blog.
