I have been lurking here trying to decide if this is the forum for these bulbs. I purchased these a couple of years ago and lost my tag. My home is the daylily forum so you are welcome to come and visit...Thank you so much...Ellie

It looks like a Montbretia, botanical name: Crocosmia to me.

Here is a link that might be useful: Yellow Montbretia

You are welcome!
The leaves of these appeared as unusually broad to me, and they would even remind me of Freesias (that belong into the same Family) that I absolutely had to look it up, since I am acquainted but with the more common Montbretias in orange / brownish orange colors.
It is like Freesias, that good (strong)spikes and the lowermost bud initials on the spike, respectively, produce 2 or more side-branches (mini spikes), and I absolutely ADORE this special humour of nature. I heard that some cultivars of Gladiolas (again: Same Family) even, are capable of branching, go-figure, and this must be absolutely wonderful!
