Just bought a house that had existing beds already. We've been working on them because we found out they are very clay heavy. In adding some manure compost in, my husband dug up these bulbs. They are in the bottom of a drinking glass, so they are not very big. Was thinking perhaps a tulip? I'm a little stumped because they look so much like an onion. I am thinking they've been there for a while, and with the heavy clay, maybe they couldn't grow. Just need to know if this is something I need to get rid of or replant.
