staggering gladiolus bloom time

Next year I'd like to stagger bloom time of gladiolus corms. If I purchase corms early spring, any advice on the best way to store the corms until they are ready to plant? Can I just leave them in a cool basement, or should I put them in a refrig? Any tips appreciated. :)

They will store very well in a cool basement. From planting to bloom will average 90 days. Most will plant weekly for best bloom sequence. Al

If they are overwintered in the ground after staggered planting, will they bloom at the staggered pace, or simply bloom all at once?

They'll catch up in the next season and bloom together at their normal time; they won't keep a staggered schedule.
